CH Katsation's Kiss-A-Frog
I would like to introduce a beautiful flame point boy, CH Katsation's Kiss-A-Frog, aka Wiley, who is currently being shown by my friends Brenda and Donna Shaffer of Mistekatz Cattery.
Soon after Wiley was born I looked at him and thought...this boy is special. I gave him a weekly bath or two as a kitten and cleaned his face twice daily. He was loved and played with all the time, so his personality bloomed. All of Wiley's characteristics looked show quality, until he went through the uglies, somewhere between 3 and 5 months. Then, he was totally out of balance for a couple of months, but then he began to mature and his looks improved. All the while he gained more and more weight. His coat became fuller. His overall balance improved as he was looked rounder every day.
I thought this boy should be shown!
In November, I asked my friends, Brenda and Donna Shaffer of Mistekatz Cattery if they would like to show Wiley for me, as I believe he is deserving of the title of Grand Champion. His first show was as a kitten on Dec 4 and 5, 2006. The show was held by the Mid-Michigan Cat Fanciers Cat Club in Kalamazoo, Mi. He was awarded a second best of breed ribbon by the Judge who said "he had a dynamite body and gorgeous tophead."
We are all hoping that he will show better as an adult. You see this beautiful boy was handicapped by a stained ruff area (bib area) which was entirely my fault. We have well water at my house, which means he should have been drinking bottled water. I knew this, yet didn't confine him to keep him entirely on bottled water as I should have. Wiley is part of the family and has always had the run of the house. He ate breakfast with us every morning. His favorites were buttered wheat toast, pancakes, and biscuits. He learned to beg like a puppy. There was no saying NO, as his would steal it right off your plate! That was how the day started, and it was the same for each meal. He just loves people food. Some of his favorites are pizza, cooked chicken, cooked turkey and sometimes raw meat, when we were out of his favorites. He didn't neglect his kitty food either. He ate all his kitty dry and wet food as well our foods. He should have been born a pig, as you can see his day evolves around FOOD.
